About us
Musical Starts is a new musical theatre school for ages 0-8 in Dartford. We aim to create a positive theatrical experience in our classes encouraging individuality and self-confidence. The business owner, Megan Middup, started her Musical theatre journey at 11 and trained professionally in the industry until 18, going on to win first place at Talent America New York City with her musical theatre performance. For the past 5 years, Megan has worked in Childcare and been a nanny. She now wishes to join the two things she loves most in this world and create a supportive and caring environment for your children to reach their full potential in a wonderful industry.
About Classes
Ages: 4 to 6
The next class up is our 4-6-year-old musical theatre class giving a creative outlet to have fun and make new friends while using a mix of fantastic games, catchy tunes, and energetic dances to bring out their true potential as a mini performer. They will get performance opportunities on stage as well as termly shows for parents.
Ages: 6 to 8
Finally, we have our 6-8-year-old musical choir who will learn both musical theatre and popular pop songs in a group setting. Learning how to work as a team and listen to one another while having so much fun learning new tunes and choreography. Additionally, they will have a chance to audition for solo pieces at our concerts. And we put on termly performances for Parents
